Message from Mill Pond Press Remembering Our Buddy, Paco Young A gifted artist, a kind and generous man with a fearless spirit, Paco Young died at his home in Montana on December 1, 2005, after a courageous yearlong battle with leukemia. He was 47. A true outdoorsman of the American West, Paco was blessed with limitless artist talent, boundless enthusiasm and countless friends. He had an affinity for nature and a passion for life that is evident in each of his timeless paintings. Paco, his devoted wife, Toni, and their young son, Graham, lived in a setting that fueled his artistic imagination. It was a source of constant inspiration to him as well as to the many artist and students the Youngs hosted at their acclaimed workshops.
